RAWALPINDI: The Security Forces have killed nine Khwarij terrorists and arrested four others in two operations carried out in North Waziristan, the ISPR said.
According to the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces conducted operation in Doseli area of North Waziristan on a tip off regarding presence of Khawarijs terrorists while six Khawarijs were killed and two arrested.
The second operation conducted in Aisham area of North Waziristan where after an exchange of intense firing between security forces and Khawarijis terrorists, three Khawarijs terrorists were killed while two injured.
Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed khwarij, who remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces as well as target killing of innocent civilians, it further said.
“Sanitization operation is being carried out to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area, as security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country,” the news release said.
