Senate, NA sessions to be held today, both houses agenda issued

Islamabad: President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari has called senate and National Assembly session today while it is likely that constitutional amendments bill will be approved from both the sessions.

Senate session will be held at 3 pm today while its 14 points agenda has been issued. Constitutional amendment bill not included in the senate session.

Committee reports and several bill to be presented for approval while two calling attention notice are also part of the agenda.

In case of consensus on the proposed constitutional amendment draft then supplementary agenda will come.

On the other hand, the NA session will be held on 4 pm today Federal Minister for parliamentary affairs will present an amendment to National Commission for women act in the NA.

Federal Minister for housing and Works will present a bill for establishment of Pakistan Infrastructure Development and Asset Management Authority.

A bill for world convention implementation bill for Biological arms preparation and buying prohibition will be tabled.

A report regarding implementation on cabinet division federation policy for year 2020-2021 will be presented.

A calling attention notice will be presented for sub-standard education in Islamabad. While calling attention notice will also be presented regarding increasing number patients of diabetes.
