LAHORE: Veteran Pakistani actor Asim Bukhari has died at the age of 76, following a prolonged battle with illness. Family sources confirmed his death on Thursday.
The seasoned performer, renowned for his work in television, theatre, and film, had been suffering from kidney and heart issues for an extended period. It was reported that he fell into a coma on Wednesday night before passing away.
He had been hospitalized for the last 15 days due to complications related to his ongoing health problems. His funeral prayers are scheduled to be held today after Asr at Jamia Mosque, located near his residence in Lahore.
