PESHAWAR: Legendary Pakistani film and television actor Rasheed Naz has passed away at the age of 73.
Rasheed Naz, family members confirmed his death on social media, his daughter in law and actor Madeha Naqv in her post said that ” our beloved father left us for eternal abode today. She also requested the followers and fans of the actor to recite Surah Fateha.
According to details, the funeral prayers of the actor will be offered in Peshawar.
Rasheed Naz, who has worked in numerous movies and television dramas, was born on September 9, 1948 in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He started his television career as an actor in Pushto television play in 1971. Rasheed Naz has worked in several Pashto, Hindko and Urdu language plays.
His first Urdu play was Aik Tha Gaoon (1973).
The actor also worked in Shoaib Mansoor film ‘Khuda K Lye” also featured in a music video of the director as a king Akbar “pyar mohabat and apna pan”
