Lahore: A session court of Lahore on Sunday sent Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) president Chaudhry Pervez Elahi to jail on judicial remand in the fake recruitment in the Punjab Assembly case.
Judicial Magistrate Ghulam Murtaza Virk pronounced the reserved verdict.
The Department of Anti-Corruption Punjab has insisted to give physical remand of the accused. But the court rejected the anti-corruption insistence.
