Islamabad: A district and session court of Islamabad will pronounce the verdict in the toshakhana case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan today at 3:15 pm.
Imran Khan didn’t follow Islamabad session court orders as he didn’t appear before the session court despite non-bailable warrants in the toshakhana case.
As the court resumed the hearing the judge said that we will announce verdict at 3:15 pm.
The PTI chief Imran Khan counsel contended that his client has challenged the verdict in the Islamabad High court and wait till the verdict announce in the IHC.
His client has some reasons behind not appearing before the session court. To which, judge said that, the court halted its hearing on the reason while he said that the court will announce the verdict till 3:15 pm.
Imran Khan had requested to transfer the case into the judicial complex adding that we passed the verdict on the plea but it was not challenged, the court added.
Additional Session Judge once again announced a break in the hearing.
Earlier in the day, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan could not appeared before a district and session court of Islamabad today yet again in the toshakhana case.
Additional Session judge Zafar Iqbal heard the toshakhana case against former premier Imran Khan on Tuesday (today).
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjaha and the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) counsel Saad Hassan appeared before the court.
On the court query junior counsel of Imran Khan Sardar Masroof said that he didn’t know about appearance of Imran Khan in the court adding that the team of senior lawyers can apprise about it.
The judge said to Imran Khan’s lawyer that it seems that Imran Khan will not appear before the court if situation were remained same then we decided the case.
Honourable judge said that Imran Khan used to of coming to other courts but he is unwilling to appear before the session court.
Judge Zafar Iqbal said that the lawyer is bound that Imran Khan appear before the court.
The counsel of the ECP said that inform the appearance before the court in the morning, why do you waste time.
