Karachi(May 28, 2018): Eight members of the same family died and two other sustained injuries when the fire erupted in a house situated in Malang Goth, Baldia in the wee hours of Monday.
Eyewitnesses said that the fire broke out due to short-circuit which engulfed the entire house with a twinkling of an eye. They further informed that women and children were among the dead.

Police and fire brigade reached the spot and brought the fire under control.
According to police sources, the dead were identified as Nazia, Gulnaz Bibi, Zafar, Naila, Rehan and Ruqaiya. Police have also launched an investigation.
