Karachi: Former army chief and ex-president gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf funeral prayers was held in the Polo ground of Malir Cantonment wherein senior on duty and retired officers and family members attended including Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza.

According to Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) All sections of society attended the funeral prayers of ex-army chief while he was buried will full military honour and his body was wrapped in flag of the country and later salutes were given.
Political leaders, civil and military officials reached Karachi to attend the former president funeral prayers.

Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf funeral prayers were attended by seven four star general which included ex-army chief Ashfaq Pervez Kiyani, ex-coas Qamar Javed Bajwa, ex-army chief gen (retd) Aslam Baig.
Besides that former Chairman Joint Chiefs of staff Committee gen (retd) Ahsan, gen (retd) Nadeem Raza, gen (retd) Zubair Hayat were prominent among all.
