Rawalpindi: Seven terrorists were killed and six others injured in an intense exchange of fire between the security forces and the militants in Ursoon area of Chitral yesterday.
According to ISPR, the security forces successfully rounded up the terrorists.
Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area, the ISPR apprised.
The ambush had happened on September 9 yesterday, the ISPR added.
As per the ISPR, locals of the area appreciated the operation by the security forces and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country.
