PESHAWAR: A BRT bus accident occurred when the vehicle veered off the track and collided with roadside trees, leaving several passengers injured. The incident was reportedly caused by the driver’s lack of sleep and a sudden decline in health.
Eyewitness accounts indicate that the bus skidded off the road before hitting a tree. According to police reports, some passengers sustained minor injuries, but there is no serious threat to their safety.
Emergency response teams were promptly dispatched to the scene. Machinery was brought in to clear the route, and the driver was taken to a hospital for medical evaluation.
