Quetta: The crescent of moon of Shaban sighted in the country on Thursday while first Shaban will be observed from Friday, January 31.
The central moon sighting meeting was held in Quetta in the chair of Chairman Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khubair.
Later he announced that the sky was clear in the most of the country while some places were cloudy.
He apprised that Shaban moon witnessed in Thar.
At the occasion, Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khubair prayed for the country’s security, redressal of problems of Palestinian brethren.
Besides that he also prayed collectively for rains in the country.
The Shab-e-Barat will be observed on February 13.
On the other hand, if Shaban month will be of 29 days then first fast of sacred moth of Ramzan will be observed on March first, on Saturday.
Otherwise if the month of Shaban remains of 30 days then first fast will be observed on March second on Sunday.
