Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) Monday issued notices to respondents SHO Kohsar and the city magistrate Ghulam Murtaza over a bail petition of the PTI’s chief of staff of its Chairman, Shahbaz Gill.
The IHC Chief Justice (CJ) Athar Minallah heard the bail petition of the PTI leader Shahbaz Gill over the case against him on charges of inciting people against the country’s institutions.
Shahbaz Gill in his petition adopted the view that the Kohsar police arrested him August 9, he under went medical check up on August 17, Adyala Jail and PIMS medical board confirmed the torture on the petitioner.
The bail petition insisted that his (Shahbaz Gill) bail after arrest be approved until the final verdict of the case.
The IHC has issued notices to respondents on the bail after the arrest, while the notices served to the SHO Kohsar and the city magistrate Ghulam Murtaza.
Earlier, Shahbaz Gill had also filed his bail petition in the session court of the capital, however, the court rejected his bail petition and disposed of the bail petition.
