Islamabad (June 17, 2017): Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Shairf appeared before the joint investigation team (JIT) probing Shairf family offshore holdings.
The JIT headed by Wajid Zia has started questioning Shahbaz Sharif.

Earlier, the Chief Minister arrived at Federal Judicial Academy to appear before JIT in a private vehicle without any protocol and security.
The convoy of Shahbaz Sharif was comprised three vehicles. Shahbaz Shairf came in while-color Land cruiser driven by Hamza Shahbaz Sharif.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan also accompanied the chief minister to FJA in a black land cruiser he was driving himself.
No protocol staff, vehicle or security staff accompanied Shahbaz Sharif.
Sources said that Shahbaz Sharif will be questioned about Hudaibia Papers Mills case, Chaudhry Sugar Mills and other assets.
They said that the JIT had already prepared a questionnaire for Shahbaz Sharif.
It is to be mentioned here that on Thursday Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif appeared before the JIT, which questioned him for over three hours.
Besides, Hussain Nawaz and Hassan Nawaz had also appeared before the panel for multiple times and faced hours long questioning.
The JIT has also summoned Prime Minister’s son-in-law Capt (Retd) Safder for June 24 to appear before it.
