Lahore: Opposition Leader in National Assembly and President of Pakistan Muslim League- N Shahbaz Sharif has convened a meeting of the Economic Advisory Council of PML-N.
In his statement the PML-N President said that the Economic Advisory Council should review the strategy to prevent the passage of anti-people budget.
Shahbaz Sharif said that the serious problems facing the people due to inflation, unemployment and economic woes should be highlighted and the demands of the IMF would not be allowed to be imposed on the people by naming them as budget.
He said that the realities of rising prices of electricity, gas, medicines, medical treatment and education and the prices of essential commodities should be highlighted.
The PML-N president said that the government can change the statistics by lying but it cannot change the ground economic realities.
