Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid has said that the name of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif has been put on Exit Control List (ECL).
The minister said that a summary in this regard has also been forwarded to cabinet.
Talking about the attacks of Israeli forces on Palestinians, Sheikh Rashid urged the international community to mediate and resolve the issue. Pakistani people condemn the atrocities of Israel and pledged support to the oppressed Palestinians, he asserted.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad, along with Prime Minister s Advisor on Interior and Accountability Shahzad Akbar, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid said that Shehbaz Sharif was not on the blacklist adding that no accused could be treated in a special way.
