ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan former all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi has became Ambassador for T20 World Cup, Lala thanked to ICC.
Pakistan former all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi expressed his gratitude to the International Cricket Council (ICC) on appointing the legend as an ambassador for the forthcoming T20 World Cup 2024.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Afridi wrote: “Grateful and honored to be on board as the exclusive brand ambassador for T20 World Cup from Pakistan.”
“Thank you ICC for this amazing opportunity. Looking forward to promoting the spirit of cricket and cheering on our team!”
Afridi led Pakistan to T20 World Cup title in 2009 while also playing a key role in their run to the final in 2007.
