Karachi: Sindh government has completed preparations getting operation of green bus line services from the federal government.
Sindh senior Minister Sharjeel Memon presided a high level meeting today, Friday.
Sharjeel Memon directed the respective institutions to complete work on joining of the green line bus service to the orange line project at the earliest.
The federal government will hand over the green line bus service to the Sindh government in December this year.
The transport minister said that the green line bus service is a vital part of the Karachi Public transport system .
He said that a subsidy of Rs 2 billion is provided to the green line bus service by the federal government.
Whereas, he said that the Sindh government will review the provision of the subsidy to the green line bus service.
The more buses will be added in the fleet of the green line bus service to make the service more impactful and better for the citizens, he said.
