Karachi: Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Memon met a delegation of Chineses investors.
Investment in electric vehicles came under discussion in the Minister and Chinese delegation.
At the occasion, Sharjeel Memon invited the Chinese investors to establish E-V manufacturing plant in Sindh.
The Minister said that the manufacturing plant will promote economy of the country and will also create thousands of employment opportunities.
He said that the provincial government will provide essential perks and privileges and business friendly environment and all facilities of foreign investors.
Particularly Sindh has strategic importance regarding investment in Pakistan, the Minister said.
He apprised to the Chinese investors that Sindh has ports, ever increasing road net work and having a large number of man power.
Sharjeel Memon said that the future belongs to Electric vehicles and Sindh like to play leading role in the change.
We invite foreign investors to establish EV manufacturing plant in Sindh, he said.
The Chinese investors showed their interests in investing in the EV sector and also commend Sindh government determination for development of industries.
The meeting also discussed renewable energy, development of basic infrastructure, transfer of technology and possible partnership.
Secretary Transport Asad Zamin, Managing Director of Sindh Mass Transit Authority Kamal Dayo were also attended the meeting.
