KARACHI: Karachi Kings have announced the appointment of former Australian speedster Shaun Tait as their assistant and fast bowling coach for the upcoming tenth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), set to commence on April 11, 2025.
In addition to overseeing the team’s pace bowling department, Tait will serve as assistant to newly appointed head coach Ravi Bopara.
The English all-rounder, Ravi Bopara known for his aggressive on-field approach and match-winning capabilities, will lead Karachi Kings’ coaching staff in what promises to be a thrilling season of Pakistan’s premier T20 competition.
With his reputation as one of the fastest bowlers of his era, Tait brings a wealth of experience to the team. His expertise is expected to enhance the Kings’ pace battery, giving them a competitive edge in a tournament known for its high-intensity contests and star-studded lineups.
PSL 10 is scheduled to take place from April 11 to May 18, featuring a total of 34 matches.
The opening match will see defending champions Islamabad United take on two-time winners Lahore Qalandars at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Karachi Kings will kick off their campaign on April 12, playing at their home ground the National Bank Stadium in Karachi against Multan Sultans.
