Karachi: Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday hearing a plea of sacked employees of Sui Southern Gas Cooperation (SSGC) on the orders of Supreme Court (SC) declared the petition unmaintainable and directed the sacked employees to approach SC.
The petition aruged that petitioners were not restored on the act annuled by the SC for restoration of employees.The SSGC had sacked the 360 employees after the verdict of the SC and the SC had declared 2010 act for restoration of employees null and void and the act of 2010 was in line with the act of 2009.
The court in its remarks said that the sacked employees should approach the SC for review of their case. It said that it can not be happen that bring an ordinance for restoration of employees and the ordinance end after some time and later on make it an act.
