SHC expressed indignation over the non-arrest of Hammad Siddiqui in Baldia factory incident

Karachi: Sindh High Court has expressed its indignation over the non-arrest of the absconding accused Hamad Siddiqui in the Baldia factory tragedy case.

Justice KK Agha of Sindh High Court heard the case of extradition of absconding abroad during which Deputy Protocol Officer and Public Prosecutor appeared in the court.

During the hearing, the court expressed its indignation over the non-arrest of the fugitive accused Hamad Siddiqui in the Baldia tragedy case and said that why the accused Hamad Siddiqui could not be arrested and brought back to the country, who is supporting such a person who has serious charges against him?

The court said, it had ordered to block the identity card and passport of the accused Hammad Siddiqui, what steps have been taken so far? This is the incompetence of the Ministry of Interior, the fugitive accused are not arrested and brought back.

The court also expressed indignation over the non-arrest of the accused Taqi Shah involved in the murder of State Life Officer Amjad Shah and the non-arrest of the fugitive accused Khurram Nisar involved in the murder of the policeman.

The court sought a report from the Ministry of Interior and Foreign Affairs on the non-arrest of fugitive accused Hammad Siddiqui, Taqi Haider and Khurram Nisar, while the court also summoned the Additional Attorney General on December 17.
