KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) has ordered that the arrested suspect, Armaghan, be presented before the court with security tomorrow (Tuesday) who was arrested for the investigation into the murder of Mustafa Amir.
SHC judge conducted a hearing regarding the rejection of Armaghan’s physical remand request. The plea challenged lower court’s decision to deny the physical remand request filed by police on February 10th.
The court raised concerns about the lower court’s reasoning for dismissing the request. Additional Prosecutor General emphasized that no valid justification was provided for the denial.
Meanwhile, the investigation officer (IO) filed a petition in the West Karachi Sessions Court, requesting the exhumation of Mustafa Amir’s body for a post-mortem and DNA analysis.
The court approved the request and directed the formation of a medical board to carry out the exhumation. A report is expected within seven days.
