KARACHI: On the issue of appointment of Chief Justice Sindh High Court Justice Ahmed Ali M Sheikh as an ad hoc judge of the Supreme Court, lawyers came to the fore.
The Sindh Bar Council and the Sindh High Court Bar Association yesterday announced a complete boycott of the courts over the appointment of the Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court as an ad hoc judge.
The lawyer leader said that Justice Ahmed Ali M Sheikh is being appointed as an ad hoc judge in the Supreme Court without his consent. Chief Justice Sindh High Court is the most senior judge.
