Shehbaz Expresses Concern Over Increasing Terrorism Related Incidents

ISLAMABAD: Opposition leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday condemned the brutal killing of 14 passengers who were offloaded from a bus near Makran Coastal Highway and were gunned down at point blank range from unknown armed assailants and termed it a conspiracy of the enemy to divide the nation.

As per details, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shehbaz Sharif in a statement said that recent terror incidents hinting towards a well-planned conspiracy of the enemies as they targeted non-native peoples in the attacks.

He also expressed his worries over growing extremism in the country and requested the nation to stand united against this menace of extremism.

He reiterated that nation always rejected such tactics in the past and will do it again.

Shehbaz also demanded the provincial government for taking strict action against those who are involved in this brutal attack.

PML-N chief also expressed his grieves towards the bereaved families of the martyred individuals and prayed for their souls from Allah Almighty to accommodate them in higher ranks of Jannat.

Earlier today, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has claimed that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led Government has failed to control the terrorists from executing their terror bids across the country.

Expressing his thoughts on the recent bus attack at Markan coastal highway, the PPP chairman condemned the killings of 14 passengers.

In his statement, Bilawal lashed out at the current government, adding that the terror attack once again claimed lives of innocents inside Balochistan’s territory.

He demanded the government to bring the masterminds behind these terror attack under the grip of the law.

Unknown armed assailants on Wednesday night killed 14 people who were passengers, travelling on the Markan coastal highway in Gwadar district.

According to security sources, the assailants halted path of all the buses either heading for or leaving Gwadar and offloaded all the passengers.

Sources added that the unidentified gunmen checked the National Identity Cards (NICs) of all the passengers before shooting them to death at point-blank range and fleeing the scene without being caught.

Security officials, upon receiving the information of the heart-rending incident, reached the highway spot and shifted dead bodies to a Naval Hospital in Ormara.
