ISLAMABAD: The opposition leader and head of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has extended Saturday his stay in London after consultation with his physician.
According to sources, Shehbaz Sharif has cancelled his return to Pakistan on May 7 and decided to extend his stay in London as his medical tests will be conducted on May 8 and 12.
PML-N Withdraws From Shehbaz’s PAC Chairmanship
The PML-N has withdrawn Shehbaz Sharif from Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairmanship and replaced Rana Tanveer as new PAC chairman.
Commenting over the issue spokesperson PML-N said that Shehbaz Sharif had no intention to become PAC chairman, however, he accepted the slot on the insist of the united opposition and parliamentary advisory committee.
Earlier, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has nominated Khawaja Asif as its parliamentary leader in the National Assembly.
PML-N’s parliamentary party met in National Assembly in a session and nominated Khawaja Asif as party’s parliamentary leader in the house.
He was nominated as a parliamentary leader by the former premier Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on the will of party president Shahbaz Sharif.
