Sending thanking message to army chief for his support Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Shahryar Khan vowed that the Pakistan Supper League final would be played in Lahore at any cost.
“My stance in very clear that the PSL final will be played in Lahore at any cost as we will not bow before terrorism and government has been informed in this regard, ” talking to media visiting Gaddafi Stadium PCB Chairman said adding that foreign observers being came to Pakistan to review security arrangements.
Chairman PCB explaining that Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif, who were allegedly involved in match fixing, would be given opportunity to present their stance but PCB has enough evidence against them.
“Players were instructed be cautious before PSL, therefore the player indulged in match fixing will be awarded maximum punishment,” he said.
