Rawalpindi (June 05, 2018): Chief of Awami Muslim League, Sheikh Rasheed on Tuesday submitted his nomination papers from NA 60 and NA 62 to the Returning Officer.
Sheikh Rasheed reached Judicial Complex to file his nomination papers along with his supporters. Talking to the newsmen after filing his nomination papers, Sheikh Rasheed said we will defeat everyone in the upcoming polls along with Imran Khan.

Sheikh Rasheed appealed ECP to make arrangement for the voters so that they can cast their vote easily in the hot weather, else showed his concern that turn out might remains low.
Earlier today,Muhammad Saleem, the candidate of the GDA received nomination papers to contest elections from NA 246 Lyari against the PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
Afnanullah, son of Senator Mushadullah of PML-N got nomination papers from NA 247.
On the other hand, chief of Muhajir Ittihad Tehreek, Dr. Saleem Hyder has received nomination papers for three constituencies of the National Assembly NA 239, NA 251 and NA 256.
Each candidate will submit an affidavit for Article 62 and 63 along with the nomination papers, which will include details about holding foreign passports, dual nationality, and any criminal cases against the candidates.
Yesterday, Chairman Pakistan People’s Party, Asifa Bhutto Zardari and other important personalities obtained nomination papers for upcoming general polls.
According to the details, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Asifa Bhutto Zardari will contest upcoming polls from NA 200, Larkana and NA 246 Lyari and PS 10 Naudero respectively. they both had received nomination papers.

Bilawal Bhutto will submit his nomination papers on 6 and 7th of June.
On the other hand, nomination papers were received by the different leaders of the political parties for the National Assembly and Sindh Assembly seats.
PML-N’s Khawaja Tariq Nazir has received nomination papers from NA 245, whereas Tariq Mehmood received nomination papers from PS 105.
Nadir Gaboo, the Son of PPP Leader Nabeel Gabool had also received nomination papers, he will be contesting elections from PS 168.
Candidate of Pashton Qaumi Movement, Saifur Rehman Mehsud has received nomination papers for NA 242.
Candidate of MMA, an Alliance of Religious Party, which become active after 10 years, JI Karachi Ameer, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman Butt also got nomination papers through his advocate.
According to the details, PTI, 12, PPP, 9, and candidates of PML-N received 3 nomination forms.
Election Commission will accept nomination papers from the candidates for general elections till 8th of this month.
Scrutiny of nomination papers by Returning Officers will be conducted by 14th of this month.
Appeals against decisions of Returning Officers can be filed by 19th, while appeals will be decided by Appellate Tribunals by 26th of this month.
Revised list of candidates will be published by 27th.
Candidates can withdraw their candidature by 28th of the current month and then the final list of candidates will be published the same day.
