Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has suggested the PDM chief Maulana Fazal Ur Rahman to take part in Senate elections from KP or Balochistan which will diminish his anger and restlessness.
Talking to media after attending a Kashmir day ceremony at Waqar Unisah Girls College Rawalpindi, the Minister said that the PDM has to take political decision today adding that the PML-N and PPP had signed a charter of democracy back in 2006 for the open vote.
Predicting about the PDM, he said that the PDM will not go beyond a long march or it will limit it self for a no-confidence motion while he suggested the PDM to review its decision for tendering resignations from the assemblies.
The Minister said that Prime Minister Imran Khan wanted to stop sale and purchase of votes in the senate elections adding that the senate elections will be held in the first or second week of March.
Sheikh Rasheed said that the movements can’t end governments if it happened we had held the sit-in for 126 days adding that we are giving the opposition a tough time.
He said that what the opposition will do we will reciprocate in the same manner.
The Interior Minister said that the premier fought the Kashmir case brilliantly on the every front while he apprised that the government didn’t contact the PPP while he expressed best wishes on the marriage of Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari.
