Islamabad: Federal Minister for Interior on Friday briefed the senate standing committee on interior regarding recent terrorists incident in Balochistan.
The Upper house standing committee on interior meeting was held today.
Briefing the committee the Minister said that the terrorists had contacts in India and Afghanistan in the recent terrorists attack in Baluchistan.
Shiekh Rashid apprised that as many as seven soldiers were martyred including a major adding that the terrorists can attack’s anywhere in the country. He said that we have directed all the chief secretaries to keep forces on alert.
The Minister further informed that Taliban hold talks with TTP while Taliban tried that TTP people settle their matters with Pakistan and the talks could not moved forward, because the TTP has presented such demands that could not be met.
He said that we have a warm relationships with Taliban while Prime Minister Imran Khan is trying at all level that Taliban could be helped.۔
He said that those who wanted to settle matters with talks then they will tackle with talks while those who wanted to lift arms then they should be reciprocated in the same way.
The Minister said that if someone conducted action against Pakistan army or armed forces than action must be taken.
