Rawalpindi: Chief of Awami Muslim League (AML) and coalition partner of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has challenged the sealing of his residence Lal Haveli by the police and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in Rawalpindi bench of Lahore High Court (LHC) .
Sheikh Rasheed appealed the court to deseal his home while his counsel apprised the court that the matter is under hearing in a civil court.
Earlier today, the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) has sealed the residence of Awami Muslim League (AML), Chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, Lal Haveli, in the wee hours of Monday.
The ETPB staff along with Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and police personnel sealed the Lal Haveli.
Officials sealed seven units of Lal Haveli while ETPB Deputy Administrator Asif Khan led the operation.
As per the deputy administrator, Sheikh Rashid and his brother failed to provide any documents to establish ownership.
