KARACHI: The daughter of Pakistan Peoples Party Senator Sherry Rehman, Marvi Malik, has passed away, party officials confirmed on Sunday.
According to the party secretariat, she had suffered a brain hemorrhage a few days earlier, which ultimately proved fatal.
Her funeral prayers are scheduled to be held on Monday at 3:30 PM in DHA Phase 8, Karachi.
Asif Ali Zardari expressed profound grief over the loss, offering condolences to the bereaved family and praying for their strength and patience during this difficult time.
PPP leader Shazia Marri said the news was deeply shocking and heartbreaking. Similarly, Faisal Karim Kundi termed the loss unbearable and extended his support to Sherry Rehman and her family.
Condolences have poured in from political leaders across the country, who have expressed sorrow over the tragic passing and offered prayers for the departed soul.
