ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister Shibli Faraz, who heads the Government Coordination Committee, called on the Chief Election Commissioner and discussed the implementation of the Electoral Amendment Bill 2021.
Members of Election Commission of Sindh and Balochistan were also present in the meeting. The meeting discussed the use of i-voting and electronic voting machine in the upcoming general elections and the right of overseas Pakistanis to vote.
According to sources, Shibli Faraz while talking to the Chief Election Commissioner said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed full support to the Election Commission. Prime Minister Imran Khan said that it is time to take the path of innovation in the elections.
