Web Desk (November 20, 2018): In Occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown is being observed on Tuesday in all poll-bound areas on the occasion of the second phase of so-called panchayat elections.
Call for the strike has been given by the Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik.
The leadership in a joint statement in Srinagar, asked the people to totally reject this futile exercise by staying indoors.
Sham panchayat elections are being held in Kalaroos, Machil, Rajwar, Ganstan, Nowgam, Sangrama, Wagoora, Kangan and Rathsun, Bijbehara.
