Sibbi (October 17, 2017): Security forces foiled an major attempt of terrorism and recovered a 50-kg remote-controlled bomb from Kokart area of Sibbi.
As per details, security forces recovered the bomb which was planted beneath a bridge on the National Highway in Kokart area.

The recovered bomb was defused. The bomb was allegedly planted by saboteurs.
It is to be mentioned here that Balochistan is suffering a nationalist insurgency and sectarian violence.
Though in recent times, security forces have subdued the insurgency and violence to greater extent , however sporadic incidents of violence and sabotage still occurre in the province.
