Sikh community express its willingness to stand in defense of Sindh

WEB DESK: Sikh organizations worldwide have strongly denounced the recent threat made by India’s defense minister concerning a potential attack on Sindh. They have expressed unwavering solidarity with Pakistan, criticizing what they perceive as New Delhi’s continued oppression and acts of aggression.

In response, Gurpatwant Singh, the leader of Sikhs for Justice, affirmed the Sikh community’s solidarity with Pakistan and criticized Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s policies as overly aggressive.

The group has urged Pakistan to establish a dedicated recruitment program for Sikh volunteers, suggesting the formation of a specialized Sikh defensive unit.

Gurpatwant Singh further requested Pakistan’s military leadership to extend a formal invitation to Sikh soldiers currently serving in the Indian armed forces, offering them the opportunity to join Pakistan’s military to safeguard Sindh.

Sikhs for Justice emphasized that Sikh communities enduring pressure from the Indian state are prepared to oppose New Delhi’s approach and contribute to fostering regional stability. The call also included a suggestion to compile a registry of willing Sikh volunteers.
