KARACHI: The Sindh Education Department’s Steering Committee announced the winter vacation schedule for the province on Thursday.
As per the department’s spokesperson, all public and private schools in Sindh will be closed from December 22 to 31 for the annual winter break. Educational institutions are set to reopen on January 1.
The spokesperson further stated that supplementary examinations organized by the education boards will proceed as previously planned and will not be disrupted by the holiday schedule.
This announcement follows shortly after Punjab’s government declared winter vacations for schools across the province.
According to the notification issued by Punjab’s education department, holidays in all public and private schools will run from December 22, 2025, to January 10, 2026, with classes resuming on January 10.
