KARACHI: Sindh cabinet on Saturday approved lifting of ban on new recruitment in government departments.
Sindh cabinet meeting was held here with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in the chair. The meeting was attended by all members of the cabinet.
Briefing journalists after the meeting, Advisor to Chief Minister on Information Maula Bux Chandio said that the meeting strongly condemned the Indian aggression at LoC and demanded of the federal government to convene an All Parties Conference over the LoC issue.
He further told journalists that the Cabinet also decided to lift the ban on new recruitment in government departments and report was sought from every departments.
He said that new hiring would strictly be made on merit. Chandio said that the meeting also decided to ban Gutka, mainpoori and smoking at public places.
