The Sindh Cabinet has granted approval for a funding of Rs83 billion dedicated to the development initiatives in Karachi.
This resolution was passed during a meeting held in Karachi, chaired by Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.
In addition, the cabinet sanctioned an increase of Rs6.1 billion to the Flood Emergency Rehabilitation Fund to bolster relief efforts.
Furthermore, approval was given for the allocation of Rs1.24 billion to activate the Provincial Intelligence Fusion and Threat Assessment Centre.
The cabinet also approved the disbursement of more than Rs1.13 billion for land acquisition related to the Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorway project.
