KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah on Tuesday inaugurated Glimar Underpass.
During the inauguration ceremony, the chief minister while addressing Mayor Karachi Waseem Aktar, who was also present on the occasion, said that he should not worry about his powers, saying that the powers of chief minister were also his(Mayor) powers.
He added that the projects instated near election were usually termed as political bribe, saying that Golimar underpass was not a political bribe.
The chief minister assured people that now onward after every 10 to 15 days any major uplift project would be inaugurated or work on any project would be started.
Addressing the ceremony, Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar called for naming the roads after heroes of the nation, saying that the period of “goli” and china cutting has come to an end.
