KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah took notice of a female student’s death at Marvi Girls Hostel in Sindh University.
Syed Murad Ali Shah telephoned IG Sindh AD Khowaja and directed to launch investigations immediately. He said the issue could not be neglected. Murad Ali Shah ordered IG Sindh to produce the investigations report before him.
According to the details, twenty two years old final year student of the university, Naila Rind’s body was found hanging with ceiling fan in her hostel’s room.
IG Sindh formed committee to probe the issue. The inquiry committee visited Sindh University and launched investigations. SSP Jamshoro, DSP Kotri and SHO Jamshoro included in the investigation team. SSP Jamshoro Tariq said that they had received mobile data of the deceased. According to the postmortem report, there was mo torture’s sign on her body. Police said that it seemed like a suicide.
On the other hand her brother said that she had went to the university to submit the thesis. Naseem Mallah, her friend died of heart attack as she could not bear the shock.
