Karachi: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah on Monday decided to close schools, colleges and other educational institutions across the province in the wake of surge of coronavirus.
Provincial coronavirus task force meeting was held in the chair of Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah while provincial ministers Dr Azra Pechuho, Saeed Ghani, Akram Ullah Dharejo, Nasir Shah, Murtaza Wahab, commissioner Karachi and representatives of the institutions were in attendance.

Provincial health ministry gave detailed briefing to the meeting on the coronavirus situation while the CM Sindh has decided to close government offices.
On the other hand, spokesperson of Sindh government Murtaza Wahab on his twitter handle apprised that the inter-city public transport will be closed from April 29.

In his another tweet, the spokesman said that all the schools of the province, college, universities will remain close while only 20 percent skeleton staff will work in the government offices. He added that all the remaining staff will work from home while secretaries will call their necessary staff to the offices.
