The Sindh government make this decision owing to ongoing threat of heat waves forecast of imminent rains.A notification regarding the extension expected to released very soon to confirm that all schools and colleges across Sindh which were initially schedule to reopen on July 15 will now reopen on August 15,2024.
The original summer break spanned from June to July 31. However, in light of the extreme weather conditions, the authorities have deemed it necessary to prolong the holidays to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff.
This extension aims to provide relief during the intense heat wave and prepare for the rainy season, ensuring that students return to a safer and more comfortable learning environment.
