Karachi: The home department Sindh has banned show-off of arms all across the province.
The prohibition on displaying of arms and ammunition has been imposed under section 144, the home department said.
The Sindh home department has also issued notification in this regard.
The provincial home department has banned the show off arms for next 45 days.
On the other hand, Caretaker Sindh Chief Minister retired Justice Maqbool Baqar has expressed dismay over deteriorating law and order in the province and directed authorities to take steps to ensure law and order.
In a letter to provincial IG police and DG rangers, he said law and order in big cities and rural areas of the province is worrisome and incidents of street crime are increasing in Karachi as well.
He directed that steps be taken to ensure protection of lives and properties of people.
