Larkana Cadet College student Ahmed could not get US visa due to Sindh government’s incompetency.
The victim of violence in Larkana Cadet College, Ahmed could not go to United States for his medical treatment. It might be for the reason that Ahmed is not the son of any minister or landlord, who can get visa on immediate basis. Ahmed belonged to a poor family of Larkana who was made just like a body through torture. When media raised his voice, then Sindh government was forced to announce his medical treatment on government expenses.
Ahmed and his father’s request for visa was also handed over to US officials for his medical treatment, but their matter got stuck due to incompetency of Provincial government departments. US Consulate rejected poorly drafted request sent by Sindh Health Department and raised issue that the name of persons whose visas were to issue were not mentioned in the request.
