KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday approved bail of former Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM-P) leader Farooq Sattar in arson and other cases of different sections.
Dr. Farooq Sattar consul argued before the court that his client is a political leader and his client attended the protest by Pakistan quarters residents against their eviction as the same status.
The consul also argued that Dr. Farooq Sattar is a respectable citizen and he wanted to appear before the court and prayed the court to grant him bail.
The case against Farooq Sattar and others is under trial in the anti-terrorism court while in the previous hearing the court has issued a non-billable arrest warrant for Dr. Farooq Sattar.
