Karachi: For the security of the awami march as many as 1467 police personnel have been deployed as the Sindh police have issued a security plan for Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) long march.
The police have been deployed for the security of the awami march from Quaid-e-Azam mausoleum to Ghaghar phatak.
At least 316 Special Security Unit (SSU) personnel will be deployed for the security of the rally.
As many as 1247 constable and head constable including 10 women police personnel are part of the security team. Besides that 11 Superintendent of Police (SPs) and 21 DSPs are being deployed for the security.
