KARACHI: Following the complaints of lack of interest in government educational institutions by the concerned teachers, the Sindh government has banned them to take classes in private coaching centres.
Talking to media persons, provincial minister for education Sardar Shah said that some of the government teachers run their own coaching centres and, therefore, to get pass them they have become part of the cheating mafia.
Replying to a query over to end the menace of cheating, the provincial minister said that government was serious to stop unfair means in intermediate board examinations.
“Carrying mobile phone including teachers to examination centres will not be allowed,” he said.
Sardar Shah mentioned that the government has initiated action against those schools which started their new session in April and increased their fee for the new session.
He informed that the teaching of Sindhi language as the subject has been declared essential.
