LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi, along with five other accused, has been acquitted.
The Anti-Terrorism Court acquitted Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Hamza Azim, and four others in the case related to speeches and protests during the May 9 incident at Shah Pao Bridge.
The court sentenced nine individuals to prison terms after finding them guilty. PTI leaders Dr. Yasmin Rashid, Mian Murtaza Rashed, Sarfraz Cheema, and Ejaz Choudhary were sentenced to 10 years each.
Among those acquitted by the Anti-Terrorism Court were Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Hamza Azim, Aftab Azim, Ali Hassan, Riaz Hussain, and Khalid Qayum
