Rawalpindi: Security forces have killed six Khwarij in two separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) said.
According to ISPR, an intelligence based operation was conducted by security forces in North Waziristan district during which, own troops effectively engaged the Khwarij location and sent five Khwarij to hell.
In another intelligence based operation in South Waziristan district, the troops killed Kharji ring leader Zabi Ullah, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces and in target killing of innocent civilians and was wanted by the Law Enforcement Agencies.
Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji in the area as security forces remain determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.
