LOWER DIR: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) along with police forces conducted an intelligence-led operation in the Talash area of Lower Dir district today (Wednesday), resulting in the elimination of six terrorists.
The apprehended militants were identified as individuals involved in multiple terrorist incidents and were actively plotting disruptive activities in the region. During the operation, security forces also recovered a significant cache of arms and ammunition, including six Kalashnikov rifles, three hand grenades, and various rounds of ammunition.
Expressing appreciation for the successful operation, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Inspector General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Zulfiqar Hameed commended the efforts of the CTD and police personnel for their dedication and effective action.
The operation marks a crucial step in the ongoing efforts to eliminate terrorist threats and ensure security in the area.
